Definition: (British English) A person who goes to horse races.

1. Has some purpose, whatever this/these is/are.

2. Person pays to go in ! (Unless entry is free.)

3. Person seats in the proper place - safe from horses and their riders, but with a good view of the event(s). Or strategically positioned to achieve the purpose(s) of attending races.

4. Commits no crime at the racecourse or grounds. And/or does not get caught if and when a crime is committed. (Connect to #1 & #3.)

5. Person does not get involved in an argument that turns violent before, during and after the show.

6. Bets, if he/she must, before getting to grounds, not at the racecourse and/or during the race(s).

7. Arrives at the appropriate time as planned to see or participate in the particular event(s) that he or she is interested in.

8. Returns or departs from the racecourse on time.

9. No unplanned loss or unbudgeted expenses at the grounds, whether he or she bets or not (connect to #6 & #8).

10. Person enjoys the outing. That is, horse racing is exciting and objective(s) of attending race is/are achieved.
