| RABBLE-ROUSER Definition: A person who makes speeches to crowds of people intending to make them angry or excited, especially for political aims. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Has a purpose and considers rabble-rousing a necessity. 2. Person is with adequate security, in case the response from the crowd is negative! 3. Person has something to benefit from the political situation that may develop from outcome of speech, directly or indirectly, whether as a political activist/supporter/campaigner/candidate, etc. _____________ 4. Speech is made of the person's own volition. 5. Person says only what he believes or thinks the people in the crowd want to hear, whether truths or lies or half-truths! 6.
