| R & R (2) Definition: (North American English) R & R refers to time that members of the armed forces spend relaxing away from their duties. R & R is an abbreviation for 'rest and recuperation'. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to have time off. 2. Authorized or approved by the HQ or superior. 3. There will be no outstanding task before its commencement. 4. Military duties or tasks will be promptly returned to, afterwards. 8. The period will be spent far from the place(s) of routine duties. 9.
