QUIDS

Definitions:

i. (phrasal verb) (British English, informal) If you are quids in, you have more money left than you expected or get more for your money than you expected.

ii. (idiomatic - quids in) A position of having made a profit, especially a good profit.

1. What expense was incurred on was the right thing and of the best quality available. Or promise, expectation, hope, etc. from goods or service paid for was exceeded by the actual benefit received.

2. Remaining money will be safe, secured and not be a source of worry or problem. Or a threat, risk, etc. inherent in goods or service bought or received does not materialize after all.

3. Amount will be considered as 'substantial', enough to pay for some valuable thing, without requiring to be added to. Or the value, worth, etc. got from an acquisition or a usage, will be beyond an initial projected expectation.

4. Sum will be judiciously used, even if money will be given out, saved or reinvested. Or the lifespan or longevity of acquisition resulted in additional and/or better output, outcome, end result, productivity, etc.

5. 'Savings' or 'benefit' was not secured after a strenuous bargain. Or goods and services paid for was not thought of and wrongly offered, by seller, as fake, or of poor quality, or substandard.
