| QUALITY ASSURANCE Definition: The practice of managing the way goods are produced or services are provided to make sure they are kept at a high standard. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Raw materials or inputs to be used in production or provision are confirmed complete and correct before the start of manufacturing or supply process. 3. Standard or level desired to be attained is known to all persons, and/or programmed/set for the equipment/machinery, that will be responsible for ensuring compliance. 4. Checkers/inspectors and equipment/tools that will be used to help confirm standards are all competent, effective and efficient; and machinery are in serviceable conditions. And these perform their functions timely and as exactly hoped for. 5. Inspections, assessments, etc. are regular and thorough. And where standards are not met, the processes of production or supply will be stopped from being continued, until recommended changes, to ensure correctness and/or improvements are made. 6. Practice of method serves purpose(s).
