| PUNGENCY (2) Definition: The quality of being direct and having a strong effect. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Not unexpected, even if the person or thing at the receiving end is unprepared for directness and strong impact. 2. Level of directness and extent of effect will be measurable and/or assessable. That is, quality can be studied, investigated, etc. 3. Directness cannot be prevented or avoided. And strength of effect cannot be reduced or adulterated. 4. Directness and extent of effect will not be destructive or damaging to man and the environment or ecosystem. And will, therefore, bring no unplanned loss to who or what is connected with/to thing with quality. 5. Directness or serious impact will be present and continue for duration planned or desired or hoped for. 6.
