| PUBLIC SPIRIT (2) Definitions: i. Willingness to do things that will help other people in society. ii. A situation in which other people in a society are helped by what is done by somebody. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for who displays generous spirit. 2. No demand or requirement, will be made, on members of the public, to contribute, before thing is done or materializes. (To emphasize.) 3. Benefit, gain, advantage, etc. that will accrue to the members of the public will be for a very considerable period of time. 4. There will be no expectation or demand for a reward, compensation, etc., by who does beneficial thing for the public good. 5. Approach or method of providing for the general good will not leave a sour taste in the mouth for recipients. That is, who provides good will not be strictly a do-gooder! 6.
