| PUBLIC SPIRIT (1) Definition: Having a quality of willing to do things that will help other people in society. ______________________________________________________________________ * All twelve elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and believed necessary, by who is public-spirited. And the good guy is not a public servant! 2. (Reserved.) (Not some community service ordered by the court!) 3. Doer or helper does not wait to be asked or cajoled to action. And act will not be because of facing a danger. 4. No delay or postponement of the time to do good. And no selecting a period considered convenient for self. 5. There will be no condition attached to or demand made before help. 6. Not used as a bargaining chip in the future. And also not used later to seek a social favour or political advantage. 7. Readiness and the action will not be accompanied with a frown. 8. No discrimination, or selection, or exclusion of the place(s) or location(s) where public good can be done. 9. Time or period devoted to positive action will not be idle time. 10. No unplanned loss will arise from willingness and subsequent action, whether or not an effort is appreciated by others. 11. No waiting around, after deed, for an applause or acknowledgment. 12.
