Psychological warfare
PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE

Definitions:

i. Things that are said and done in order to make an opponent believe that they cannot win a war, a competition, etc.

ii. Attempts to make your enemy lose confidence, give up hope, or feel afraid, so that you can win.

1. Purposeful and considered necessary to wage 'war'.

2. Talk is never meant to be 'walked'. And actions are never intended to have follow-through. But the opponent never knows.

3. 'Evidence' of seriousness of intention will be clearly seen by the opponent or co-competitor. That is, manner of speech, nature of utterance, poise, positioning or placement of equipment, etc. will be taken as 'convincing'.

4. There will never be a serious preparation or genuine readiness to fight, even as opponent cannot know this for sure! That is, in case, the enemy discovers the bluff, other strategies to avoid a confrontation will be adopted.

5. Attempts (= talk, action, etc.) lasts for period considered adequate, before unplanned expenditure would be incurred in the process of trying to force a 'victory'.

6. 'Display' or posture achieves objective(s). That is, opponent gets frightened and 'capitulates', without a 'shot' or missile being fired by who wages war.
