| PROFANATION Definition: Act of profaning (= showing disrespect for religion or holy things; being blasphemous; treating something sacred irreverently). ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Who displays profane attitude is believed normal and in his or her right senses. That is, has a purpose and considers badness necessary. 2. The person expressing profanity will have a defensible position or point of view that will be at variance with what is being condemned. 3. Acts, or actions, or inaction, will be deliberately selected to have the maximum negative impact when seen or heard by some other. 4. Expressions that are disrespectful, blasphemous and wrongful are made directly and openly such that a denial cannot be offered later. 5. 'Devil' or 'Satan' gets away with vile and demonic acts. That is, no condemnation or sanction will be suffered by the 'baddie'. 6.
