| PROACTIVENESS Definition: The quality of being proactive (taking the right preemptive action to cause a change before the need to react arises). ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful for who adopts tactics that is not a reactive measure. 2. Considered absolutely essential to work ahead (connect to #8). 3. Who acts earlier than expected is fully aware or responsibilities and has a sense of commitment. That is, obligation or duty will be a front burner matter - not forgotten - and vision (aim) and mission (target) will defined - very definite. 4. Method(s) will be suitable and appropriate, legal and effective. 5. Timing of actions will be excellent - requiring no hurry or rush. 6. End result or outcome will be beneficial. That is, decision to be quick to act achieves objective(s). In other words, forward-looking or foresightedness will result in the avoidance of danger, etc. and not cause an unplanned loss, disadvantage, etc. 7.
