| BATHING Definition: (British English) The activity of going into the sea, a river, etc. to swim. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary for swimmer. 2. Not illegal to swim in particular sea, river, etc. 3. Part of sea, river, etc. is considered as the safest for a swim. 4. (Reserved.) (Person undertaking activity is accompanied to location, by somebody else who won't swim and/or informs the people left behind (= ashore), before departure to beach, etc.) 5. Activity takes place at the right time, when sea, river, etc. will not be overcrowded or be at its worst in terms of tides, currents etc. 6. Appropriate and adequate preparations are made before visit to sea, etc. That is, the health and/or fitness will be examined, and confirmed as OK, dressing will be right, etc. for activity. 7. No unplanned loss, especially that which can be caused by sea creatures, etc. will be suffered while swimming. 8. Swim is enjoyed and lasts for duration planned for. 9.
