| PRETTINESS (1) Definition: (especially of a woman, or a girl) The quality of being attractive without being very beautiful. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Woman or girl knows her level and won't compete with a beauty. 2. Attractive female never gives up on trying to become a lovely. 3. Quality will be excellent for some. That is, 'plain' woman, or ordinary-looking girl will be considered as more beautiful than the so-called beautiful woman, or girl. (To emphasize.) That is, she will be a dish for some (= a ladykiller, an Adonis, etc.) 4. Attractive features can develop and become beautiful, especially if woman, or girl has not reached her prime (= maturity or adulthood). 5. (Never admitted, though) envious of the beautiful woman, or girl, especially if in competition for the attention of the opposite sex. 6. 'Shortfall' is made up for in comportment or manners, personal hygiene, brilliance or accomplishment, etc., etc. ________________________ ... Is it ever enough ?
