| PRESENTER (3) Definition: (North American English) A person who gives somebody a prize at a ceremony. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Person is healthy, alert and fit. That is, will need no support or help to enable him or her to perform assigned task - even if he/she has to stand for hours! __________________ 3. Person makes no speeches or long comments/remarks while performing function(s). 4. Person makes no comments on the nature or sizes of the prize(s), vis-a-vis the placing of the prize winner(s). __________________ 5. Person makes no unreasonable contact, especially of a physical nature, with the prize winners: no high fives, hugs, 'kisses', etc; only a handshake, at the best! No winks!! 6. Presenter does not applaud - whether a gold medallist or the wooden spoon winner (connect to #5, see definition, to emphasize). __________________ 7.
