PREFERENCE (1)

Definition: [ ~ (for somebody/something) ] A greater interest in or desire for somebody/something than somebody/something else.

* All nine elements should be in.


1. Purposeful and necessary, even if only who shows desire knows.

2. The other person/thing not liked as much is known. That is, person/thing had been tried, tested, used, experienced, etc. before option or choice is picked or made.

3. The person/thing not preferred is not an 'illegal'. That is, no legal impediment(s) to prevent the other person or thing from being liked.

4. Satisfaction, gain, profit, etc. is more from the preferred choice. Or hope is seemingly more from the preferred choice, even if person/thing is being picked for the first time! (Connect to #2.)

5. Known or assumed risks or distrust, danger of fear, etc. in the 'reject', is confirmed to be more than the chosen person's/thing's (connect to #4).

6. The person/thing not preferred is also available or present, accessible or reachable, and equally affordable.

7. Choice of one over the other was made of the person's freewill. That is, there was no external pressure or a commentary from a 'third party' that resulted in picking one person/thing instead of the other.

8. Quality, features, etc. of person/thing are basically the same. That is, no real difference between the options available.

9. Person or thing picked will serve or serves purpose(s) as exactly hoped for. That is, there is or there will be no regret(s) from choice made.
