| PREACHER Definitions: i. A person, often a member of the clergy, who gives religious talks and often performs religious ceremonies, for example in a church. ii. A person, usually a member of the clergy, who preaches sermons as part of a church service. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Believes he or she is called to minister to others. And considers it necessary to obey 'the Master' by performing special roles. 2. Will base talks or actions on the Holy books and the tenets of religion, or on the principles of organization or society, etc. And will not condemn other faiths, pastors, etc. 3. Messages that will be delivered, arising from the interpretation given to scriptures, etc. will not be divisive. That is, the audience and society in general will benefit from what person says or does. 4. Will be ready and prepared, willing and able to preach in far-flung places. That is, he or she will always be in the mood to take good tidings to, or perform ceremonies in, other climes, in fulfillment of religious duty. 5. Lives what is preached and will perform particular ceremonies, under the same conditions, even when his/her relations are involved. 6. Will hold audience (= congregation) spellbound (= captive?). That is, oratory and/or erudition and performance will be top class; convincingly wowing. 7. Commits no mortal sin through performance of rites; will not encounter a day of reckoning.
