| PRATFALL (2) Definition: (especially North American English) A fall on your bottom. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Never planned or expected or prepared for. 2. The cause or causes is/are known or can be found out. 3. No serious injury occurs to the backside, hips or any part of the body, as a direct result of fall, heavy or not. 4. Where or what you fall on/in is not damaged, especially if thud was heavy, as a result of your weight. 5. You remain on the floor, etc. for only the minimum period, in your estimation (connect to #6). 6. No embarrassment is suffered as a result of fall, whether other people are witnesses or not. 7. The capability to get up, after fall, without an external help will be possessed. 8. A lesson or some lessons will be learned from 'misadventure' or mishap ..., even if you fall again! 9. (Reserved.)
