| PRACTICAL (1) Definition: (British English, informal) A lesson or an exam in science or technology in which students have to do or make things, not just read or write about them. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eleven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful to not leave education and knowledge - teaching and learning - at just reading or writing. 2. Considered a necessity. That is, believed vital to complement or complete earlier teaching method(s), to enhance better learning. 3. Thing, topic or subject had earlier been taught theoretically and fully - as in a syllabus (to emphasize, connect to #2). 4. All the instructions about what, how, when to do or make thing, are clear and unambiguous. _______________ NO EXCUSES ! 5. All the materials needed to perform task(s) or answer question(s) are provided or made available. 6. Student can undo or unmake thing that will be done, even if not required to in the test or during lesson. 7. Student can redo or remake thing, immediately after - not necessarily at a later time/date, even if not requested to. __________________ NO GUESSWORK. 8. No single theory question or requirement in lesson or test. That is, no serious talking now. (See definition, to emphasize.) 9. Supervisor/invigilator or teacher is present during exam or lesson. ________________ NO LUCK HERE. 10. Test or lesson serves purpose(s), whatever is to be done or made. 11.
