| POLITICIZATION (2) Definition: The act or process of making somebody/something more involved in politics. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful for who makes another person/thing more politically aware. 2. Necessity, in the opinion of the one urging another. That is, it is vital to secure an increased involvement in politics by the other. ________ 3. Increased involvement is not forced. That is, increased participation is of the person's/thing's own freewill. And choice of party, event, etc. by 'convert', won't be influenced by 'godfather'. 4. Involvement will be sustained for the whole period of politicking. _______________ 5. Person/thing urged on takes a position or stand. That is, he/she/it does not become a 'neutral' on becoming more involved. And is not in a political 'wilderness' once he/she/it gets more involved. 6. Person/thing is a fast or quick thinker/learner. That is, involvement will not be at a level that is lower than what previous state of (dis)interest would have 'earned' the person/thing. _________________ 7. Some other interests of this person/thing will suffer because of the additional time that he/she/it devotes to increased political activities. That is, person/thing was not previously jobless/idle. 8. Increased political activities serve purpose(s), as exactly hoped for, whatever this/these is/are. 9.
