| POLICY-MAKING Definition: Policy-making is the making of policies. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and believed a necessity for the policy-makers. 2. Requirements or needs are identified. And/or request(s), arising from observations or complaints are tabled and/or received. 3. Committees or panels, arrangements or organs, etc. are established or set up to consider or treat issue(s) or bone of contention. 4. Relevant processes or procedures such as submission of proposals or inputs, discussions, experimentation, etc. happen as desired. 5. Approval (formulation) or authorization (formalization), after adoption or acceptance of report, etc. occurs promptly. 6. Publicity or promotion, information dissemination, etc. of the specific and identifiable plan, will take place and be effective, to help achieve goal(s). 7. Policy will be beneficial and will not need to be immediately changed or reformed after it has come into effect.
