POEM

Definition: A piece of writing in which the words are chosen for their sound and the images they suggest, not just for their obvious meanings. The words are arranged in separate lines, usually with a repeated rhythm, and often the lines rhyme at the end.

1. Purposeful and necessary, even if it is an epithalamium.

2. Wordings, or the selected words, are interpretable. That is, writing and arrangement is understandable.

3. Pleasing to the sense of hearing when heard or read.

4. Conveys a message, whether fully appreciated or not.

5. Writing is never a real story. It's usually just fiction !

6. 'Moves', that is, writing arouses a sensibility, when read/heard.
