| PLIMSOLL LINE Definition: A line on the side of a ship showing the highest point that the water can safely reach when the ship is loaded. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Approved or authorized by the industry/shipping regulators. 3. Line goes all round and/or around the ship. 4. Clear and unmissable all through its length (connect to #5). 5. Line is straight, not curvy, or wavy, or zigzag, ... single and horizontal, ... not double ! And brightly coloured. 6.
