| PINS AND NEEDLES (1) Definition: An uncomfortable feeling in a part of your body, caused when a normal flow of blood returns after it has been partly blocked, especially because you have been sitting or lying in an awkward position. ______________________________________________________________________ * All five elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary - to react to the onset of a restoration of the body's normal physiological balance. 2. Feeling lasts for an appropriate duration and ends in good time in the opinion of person having it. 3. Feeling does not 'demobilize', that is, movement of the affected part of the body, even if it seems 'abnormal', is still possible, immediately discomfort starts and/or eventually. 4. Feeling does not lead to an unplanned and negative action such as scratching of the affected part, etc. 5.
