PIETIES

Definition: (disapproving) You refer to statements about what is morally right as pieties when you think they are insincere or unrealistic.

* Reference will be meaningful if all five elements are in.


1. Who makes reference is believed to have a purpose and to consider particular comment or writing, speech or talk a necessity.

2. Statements would contain examples of the moral deeds of others or the possible benefit from some morality will be mentioned.

3. Would have been delivered or uttered majestically or proudly, and also 'loudly' and confidently assuring. And who issues statements will not be possible to be shut up.

4. Would not be possible to be withdrawn or recanted, and won't be apologized for later, if complained about. That is, untruthfulness or impracticality will not be admitted by who makes statement.

5. No attempt will be made in situation to disprove suspicions. That is, no effort will be made to prove probity or realism.
