| PIED PIPER Definition: A person who persuades a lot of other people to follow them or to do something with them. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Has a stated purpose and considers the need for others to follow or help as a necessity. 2. Knows immediate and final destination(s) and mentions definite objective(s) from the start of persuasive talk/action. 3. Persuasion will be supported by the direct involvement of person in an activity; taking a step, 'bending down', etc. - not mere talk. 4. Provides an assurance that the others will not be at risk, or face a danger or harm, if they decide to follow or help. 5. Tactics or methods applied to try to convince the others will not include a promise, commitment, pledge, etc. of a monetary payment or compensation, etc. And 'PP' gives no conditions to the others! 6. Will not abandon the others if and when they come along or put their hands to the plough. 7. Persuasion works. That is, the others follow or help as demanded. 8. Persons persuaded will never turn against the Piper.
