| PICK-ME-UP (2) Definitions: i. (informal) Something that makes you feel better, happier, healthier, etc., especially medicine or an alcoholic drink. ii. (informal) Something that you have to do when you are tired or depressed in order to make you feel better. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary (see definition). 2. Self-chosen. That is, no compulsion to pick particular thing. 3. Not an illegality that may have undesirable consequences later. 4. Thing will be believed to be ordinarily safe, secured and protective, when done, applied, used, etc. 5. No doubt or worry on or about how to possess, acquire, treat, use, etc. the particular thing. That is, there will be no requirement to learn how to handle thing, when the need arises to seek a better frame of mind or state of health. 6. Availability or presence, duration or extent of usage of thing will not be excessive for item or object to become a bore or to turn into a disadvantage. That is, use will not be regretted in the future. 7. Thing serves purpose(s).
