Definition: (British English) A radio or television programme in which people can telephone and make comments or ask questions about a particular subject.

2. Callers are not anonymous! That is, they provide full addresses and details of their identities, especially if required by the rules or anchorperson(s).

3. Program is not prerecorded. That is, broadcast is live !
