| PHOBIA (1) Definitions: i. A strong unreasonable fear of something. ii. A morbid and often irrational dread of some specific thing. iii. An unreasonable and powerful fear of a particular thing. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Purposeful - from whatever source(s) (though this/these may never be known). (CLAUSTROPHOBIA.) 2. No justifiable basis exists for situation - no past misfortune, nightmare, negative experience, threat, scare, etc. (and this will not be realized yet). (XENOPHOBIA.) 3. No real danger or confirmed risk in the particular thing (though this will not be believed). (AEROPHOBIA.) 4. Expectation is that thing is harmful or fatal (not in a frame of mind to think straight now). (NECROPHOBIA.) 5. Fear or dread remains until confronted and/or defeated (just won't ordinarily disappears). (EMETOPHOBIA.) 6. Can be defeated or surmounted with adequate and appropriate training, education, preparation, effort, etc. (but there is mostly a reluctance to try). (AGROPHOBIA.) 7.
