| PHARMACOVIGILANCE Definition: The practice of monitoring the effects of medical drugs after they have been licensed for use. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, whether task is commissioned or not. 2. Method(s), tool(s) employed for monitoring will be time-tested. 3. Recordings of observations will be continuously, regularly made. 4. Change or alteration needed, if any, will be constantly effected. 5. Findings and reports will be comprehensive and correct every time. 6. Monitors are trained, qualified, and with the required wherewithal. 7. No unplanned loss will arise as an outcome of monitoring activities. 8. Observation, evaluation, response, etc. achieves objective(s), as hoped. NB.
