| PETTY CASH VOUCHER Definition: (finance) A piece of paper on which an employee writes what they have bought and how much it cost, so that the employer can take that amount of money from petty cash. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to acquire the particular item(s). 2. The goods were actually bought, from somebody else, and paid for. 3. No receipt was issued by the seller, whether or not demanded. 4. The details written on piece of paper are all correct and complete. 5. Writing will be clearly readable, especially for the 'auditors'. 6. Temporary or emergency receipt will be duly endorsed by the staff. 7. Paper will be submitted on time, immediately after a delivery. 8. (Reserved.)
