| PEP RALLY Definitions: i. (North American English, informal) A meeting of school students before a sports event to encourage support for the team. ii. A gathering at a school, college, or university to support a football team or sports team. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to give encouragement. 2. Those in attendance are all committed supporters/fans. 3. Well-planned or organized and event commences and ends timely. 4. Participation will be hearty. That is, hints, clues, reassurance, etc. will be provided for or given to those in the team. 5. Promise(s), commitments, pledges, etc. would be made, even if this/these would not be honoured in the end. 6.
