Pension book
PENSION BOOK

Definition: In Britain, a pension book is a small book which is given to pensioners by the government. Each week, one page can be exchanged for money at a Post Office.

1. Purposeful and necessary to give pensioners book (= cash).

2. Given promptly to only those qualified or eligible pensioners.

3. The monetary value of each page will be considered worthwhile.

4. (Reserved.) (Post Office isn't too far from pensioner's residence.)

5. Pages inside will be inexhaustible; that is, 52 pages per booklet!

6. Serves purpose(s) - should keep pensioners above the poverty level.
