| PEN-PUSHER Definitions: i. (informal, disapproving) A person with a boring job, especially in an office, that involves a lot of writing. ii. Somebody whose work consists of writing or dealing with documents, and who does not seem very useful or important. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Has a purpose and considers job a necessity. 2. Smart and brilliant - writes and/or reads well. 3. Has strong work ethics - makes no unforgivable errors! 4. Will not suffer a writer's block or writer's cramp during work. 5. What is done in the course of work will not result in an unplanned loss to organization, colleagues, etc. That is, materials will not be wasted, equipment will not be destroyed, etc. 6. Not planning to change jobs soon. That is, full concentration will still be at workplace. (To emphasize, connect to #2 & #3.) 7. Serves purpose(s) or achieves goal(s).
