PARSIMONY

Definitions:

i. (formal) The fact of being extremely unwilling to spend money.

ii. Extreme caution in spending money.

iii. (formal, disapproving) Extreme unwillingness to spend money.

1. Purposeful and necessary for who shows unwillingness.

2. Stringency or paucity of funds will not be the reason.

3. There will be no must-have item on miser's shopping list.

4. Knows the markets. That is, aware of the currency rates, etc.

5. Takes advantage of an offer, sales, etc. ... anything, to save.

6. Has some misgivings before and buyer's remorse after purchases.

7. Gets the maximum value for money from every buy or expenditure.

8. The 'savings' from miserliness will be judiciously made use of.
