| OWNER-OCCUPIER Definitions: i. A person who owns the house, flat or apartment, etc. that they live in. ii. (British English) A person who owns the flat or apartment that they live in. ______________________________________________________________________ * All nine elements should be in. * See perfect owner-occupancy. 1. Ownership will be complete and total. That is, there will be no outstanding payment on a loan or mortgage, if any: no indebtedness. 2. Will have incontrovertible evidence of sole ownership: no question. 3. Pays all dues, rents, levies, etc. on property. That is, person fulfils all the legal obligations of being an owner. 4. Looks properly after house, flat/apartment, etc. - constantly effecting necessary repairs, making required refurbishments, etc. 5. Will not have a squatter or temporary tenant(s), rent-paying or not, living in the property, alone or with him/her. 6. Has no intention of putting up house, etc. for sale soon. And/or will not use property as a collateral for or to guarantee a loan. 7. Will make a solid arrangement for the handling of asset after his or her death. That is, who will inherit property on his or her passing will be no problem, with or without a Last will and testament. 8. Does not stay away from property, leaving it unoccupied, for a considerable or sustained period. (See definition, connect to #9.) 9.
