| OVERTALK Definition: (colloquial) Excessive talk. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Listener or hearer did not foresee situation; unprepared for. 2. Starts on a reasonable note and later shifts to the unimportant. 3. 'Running commentary' is on familiar subject, favourite topic. 4. Signs (discomfort), action (interjection) won't be able to stop talk. 5. Speaker or talker will insist on finishing the long tale or story. 6.
