| OVERSIGHT (1) Definition: The fact of making a mistake because you forget to do something or you do not notice something. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Not deliberate or planned. 2. State of mind and the faculties are generally in order. 3. Brings or results in a loss, disadvantage, retrogression, etc. which will not be considered as major, great or significant. 4. Can be rectified later or its effect or impact can be ameliorated. 5. No effort could have been made to avoid mistake as a realization or awareness or even a suspicion of situation will not be present at the particular period or time. 6. No punishment, sanction, etc. will be suffered as a direct consequence of not remembering or noticing. 7.
