| ORDER (8) Definition: A formal written instruction for somebody to be paid money or to do something. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to have instruction in writing. 2. Issued by the appropriate person or authority. 3. Directed to a particular somebody, not to a 'whom it may concern' or a nameless beneficiary/instrument. 4. Instruction is specific and identifiable. 5. No error or mistake in what is written. That is, the words, figures, date, signature, process, time, etc., as applicable, are all correct. 6. What is written is legible and clear. 7. Instruction can be effected by who it is written to. Or financial instrument can be backed by payer's account balance, when presented, for payment, by the payee. 8. Instruction is obeyed or honoured as exactly 'commanded'. ________ VALID. | |
