| OPPORTUNIST Definition: (often disapproving) A person who makes use of an opportunity, especially to get an advantage for themselves. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Does not get involved in creating opportunity. 2. Did not bargain for or expect chance made available. 3. Has the wherewithal needed to explore or exploit opening. 4. Maximizes the time and space provided by the opportunity. 5. Result or end result, output or outcome, etc. of advantage taken will be exactly as desired or hoped for. 6. (Reserved.) (Will try to prevent another or others, if any, from also having 'a go' in the situation.) 7. Will suffer no unplanned loss, disadvantage, sanction, etc. in the future, as a result of being one-up. 8.
