| OLIVE BRANCH (2) Definition: If you offer an olive branch to somebody, you say or do something in order to show that you want to end a disagreement or quarrel. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, in your opinion, to try to end an issue or resolve the matter that is a bone of contention. 2. Speech or action will be clear and plain, open and transparent, understandable and acceptable, complete and thorough, etc. 3. Was or will not be said or done as a result of a demand or request by who a reconciliation or peace is being made with. 4. No condition, misgivings, reservation, etc. will be attached to, or expressed with, or accompany, an utterance or action. 5. No rationalization, justification, explanation, etc. will be mentioned during speech, talk, comment, etc., or while making offer. 6. Thing will be said or done at the right time, such that meaning or inference or purport - the desire for peace, will be truly convincing. 7. Utterance or act will be believed or accepted.
