| OILINESS (2) Definition: (of a person or their behaviour) Having the quality of trying to be too polite in a way that is annoying. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary, especially for 'Mr/Ms. Nice Guy'. 2. Behaviour will be unsolicited, unprepared for, unexpected. 3. Annoyance will arise from a realization or an awareness that quality being displayed is not close to the real nature of person. That is, person will normally be uncouth, mean, dispirited, etc. and/or will show traces of negative nature while being seemingly 'nice and cool'. 4. Pretence does not succeed. That is, insincerity will be noticed. In other words, attempts at being 'over nice' will not fly. 5. No benefit, gain, advantage, etc. will arise in or from the state or situation. (To emphasize.) 6.
