| OBSCENITY (2) Definition: An obscene word or act. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements would be in. 1. Word or act will be nauseating or discomforting or embarrassing; would also cause an uneasiness or be thought dehumanizing, for listeners/hearers and/or watchers/viewers. 2. An attempt or effort will be made to show, indicate or register disgust, discontent or unhappiness with what is said and heard, or done and witnessed. 3. There will be a readiness or willingness to 'block' hearing or shut out a sight, or even to leave vicinity or move away from environment where obscene word or act is uttered or done. 4. Word or act will not be what can and will be listened to or watched, gleefully, in one's privacy, ... in the absence of other people. (To emphasize, connect to #3 & #5.) 5. Word or act will be considered offensive, immoral, belittling, etc. And normal, sensible and right-thinking (and prudish?) persons will not applaud or endorse the 'rubbish' that is said or done. 6. No effort will be made afterwards, to recall or remember the particular word or act.
