Purposeful, even if only the novelist knows. 2. Plot is excellent, in the opinion of reader/listener. 3. Language and style of writing is excellent (connect to #2). 4. Print type is beautiful and makes book easy to read. 5. Narrative is clear, direct and understandable. 6. Story is read to the end, however it finally ends. 7. Provides the desired benefit(s) for reader(s)/listener(s). 8.
