| NOSEDIVE (2) Definition: The sudden sharp fall of an aircraft towards the ground with its front part pointing down. ______________________________________________________________________ * All seven elements would be in. 1. Flight was going smooth before the occurrence. 2. Pilot and/or co-pilot is/are not having a 'joy-ride', with or without a crew and/or passenger(s). 3. Weather is good for flying and captain is in good health and in a proper frame of mind (connect to #2). 4. Fall lasts for a period (= distance) considered appropriate (connect to #6). 5. No unplanned loss, or a damage to aircraft parts, or to other things in the sky, as a result of sharp fall. 6. Aircraft does not reach (= hit) the ground! That is, control of aircraft is eventually secured. 7. Aircraft is checked, on landing, for what might have caused the problem mid-air.
