| NON-PAYMENT Definitions: i. (formal) Failure to pay a debt, a tax, rent, etc. ii. Non-payment is a failure to pay a sum of money that you owe. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Not deliberate refusal to make good commitment to repay sum. 2. Defaulter is not unconcerned or nonchalant about the situation. 3. Not delayed or withheld to be paid later to achieve specific goal. 4. Consequence(s) of failure will be known and will be prepared for. 5. Expectation at the time of incurring debt would have been positive. 6. Not possible, at the moment, to escape from the 'law enforcement'. 7.
