* All seven elements would be in.

1. Purposeful, even if unnecessary, in the opinion of nit-picker.

2. Work has been completed, not some endeavour that is a 'work-in-progress'.

3. Activity is not requested or commissioned or expected. And it is therefore generally annoying to the person whose work is being checked.

4. Time spent looking for mistakes is not, strictly speaking, quality time. That is, period of examination is not one meant for some other important activity.

5. Suggestions are made or solutions are provided about the right and correct things, methods, etc.

6. Mistakes pointed out are accepted in good faith and no negative after-effect therefore arises from act. (Connect to #6.)

7. Corrections or appropriate amendments are effected as an outcome of habit. That is, act serves purpose(s) or achieves objective(s).
