| NEXT OF KIN (1) Definitions: i. Your closest living relative or relatives. ii. One's nearest relative or relatives, especially (in some legal systems) regarded as being entitled to inherit in the absence of a will. ______________________________________________________________________ * All twelve elements should be in. 1. Purposeful (connect to #2, to emphasize). 2. Considered necessary to have person(s), officially, as next of kin. 3. Picked or chosen by you when you were in the right frame of mind. 4. Person(s) is/are alive and well, not brain dead, terminally ill or on a life-support machine. 5. Person(s) is/are mentally and physically sound and with the appropriate strength of character. 6. Will look after your interest, just as you would, when given the responsibility. And will ensure that he or she sustains your legacy or legacies, if any. 7. Not wishing that you are 'gone' before your time. And does not do anything to hasten your early 'departure'. 8. Person(s) is/are truly related to you (see definition). 9. You have other relatives, from which you selected person(s). 10. Person(s) is/are, hopefully, really close - takes no remuneration or get refunded some 'out-of-pocket expenses' (connect to #8). 11. Person(s) is/are not replacement(s) for a 'first choice' that passed on (to emphasize). 12.
