| NEW MAN (1) Definition: (British English) A man who shares the work in the home that is traditionally done by women, such as cleaning, cooking and taking care of children. New men are considered sensitive and not aggressive. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary. 2. Decision is of the man's freewill. 3. Share of work is less than the woman's (connect to #6). 4. Does not get worried about comments that may be made about his 'very strange' habits. 5. Cleaning, cooking and care provided is appropriate or adequate, even if these are not as good as the woman's. 6. Man still finds some time to go out 'with the boys'. 7. Performs other duties or tasks expected of him. That is, does not use activities as excuse to avoid other responsibilities. 8.
