| NEW FACE Definition: (journalism) Someone who is new in a particular public role can be referred to as a new face. ______________________________________________________________________ * All six elements should be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary to have to perform the function. 2. Qualified or eligible to be saddled with responsibilities. 3. Asks for (and promptly gets the deserved) help or guidance from the earlier 'players' or the better informed in the place of activity. 4. Adds value to the society, community, etc. through the efforts or performance put into an endeavour. That is, does every job, on settling in, to the best of his or her abilities. 5. Will remain in place or organization for a long enough period of time for 'face' to be gotten used to; to become an old hand. 6.
