| NEW BLOOD (1) Definition: If people talk about bringing new blood into an organization or sports team, they are referring to new people who are likely to improve the organization or team. ______________________________________________________________________ * All eight elements would be in. 1. Purposeful and necessary - to achieve improvements! 2. Not previously used or tried, especially as a part of a smaller unit or group, whatever selection or appointment process is adopted to get newcomers. 3. 'Injected' timely to help achieve goal(s) exactly as hoped for. 4. Enthusiastic, impressionable, determined, personable, etc. That is, 'blood' will be of the appropriate 'group'. 5. Quality will be genuine. That is, 'eligibility' or qualification to be an employee or a member will not be in doubt. And this will be evident in the output, man-hour, end result, effort, etc. 6. Cost of recruitment or acquisition, training or re-training, adaptation, wages, salary, sustenance, etc. will not be prohibitive. 7. Will remain active throughout or be available for use, for the whole of the period that will be desired by organization or team. That is, persons will not be without a role or left on the bench. 8. Serves purpose(s) or achieves objective(s), even if the people brought in are to act as a spur or challenge to those already in the employ organization or selected for a team. ________________________________ * IS THAT WHAT IS NEEDED ?
